Nigel has over 20 years experience in the design and development of plant and machinery, project management and field commissioning of heavy engineering equipment. He has led design teams for a variety of products working closely with clients and suppliers in the manufacturing, mining, process and engineering industries. Nigel is skilled in the use of state of the art design and analysis tools. He also has strong financial analytical and management skills and experience. This combination of skills is crucially important in providing cost effective solutions. Outside of work Nigel is a keen yachtsman and fisherman.

Chris is a mechanical engineer with more than 15 years’ experience in the design and simulation of thermal fluid systems in the mining, power generation, oil & gas, process and manufacturing industries. He has a good understanding of fluid dynamics, therodynamics and heat transfer and its application to industry. Chris is competent in using state of the art simulation tools to solve real-world problems. This include the use of computational fluid dynamics (CFD), pipe network solvers as well as using a fundamental approach. Chris enjoys the outdoors, including camping, caravanning, 4×4 and fishing.

Dave has over 30 years experience in the design, development and manufacture of fluid systems. He is skilled in the fundamental design and integration of all major fluid system equipment and the requirements of their safe operation. He has been involved in projects handing a large range of liquids from hazardous chemicals and liquid gasses to high pressure and temperature water. In addition to liquids Dave has extensive experience with gas handling systems, both under vacuum and pressure conditions and as part of packaged process systems. Outside of work Dave is a keen fisherman and poor golfer.

Despite retiring Malcolm remains actively engaged with The Carnot Group that he and Nigel Woodman established in 2002. Malcolm has over 35 years experience in product development in a range of industries specialising in engineering management, design, energy systems and heat transfer. He has taught engineering at University and built up and led teams at CSIRO, ADI, Jacques, Australian Marine Technologies and Renewable Energy Corporation Ltd. Products developed under his leadership have sales in excess of $200million. Outside of work Malcolm plays an average game of tennis, exercises a little and supports the Pahar Trust, Nepal (www.pahar-trust.org).
